

Prana Vinyasa® Yoga Alliance Registered Programs:
200-hour Training
200-hour training is structured to allow trainees to begin at anytime.
Prana Vinyasa® School of Yoga trains teachers under a definite, pre-defined curriculum and is taught by
experienced instructors (eRYT500 Instructors) in direct contact with teacher trainees.
Graduation requirements are:
1) Prana Vinyasa® School of Yoga Teacher Training Workshops:
Attendance at 9 workshops - 20 hours each/180 training workshop credit hours:
Required:
• Teaching: Beginners
• Teaching: Standing Poses
• Teaching: Backbends & Twists
• Teaching: Inversions
• Teaching: Forward Folds
• Sequencing & Kriyas
• Anatomy and Physiology of Yoga
Electives: select from electives to complete required hours
• Pranayama I
• Effortless Observation I
• Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Flow and Power Yoga I
• Teaching Mixed Level Classes
Each workshop contains specific number of hours in Techniques, Methodology, Anatomy, Philosophy and Practicum as defined by Yoga Alliance. Full attendance at each workshop is required or a makeup (tutored) session must scheduled.
2)In addition to workshops and workshop contact/credit hours:
50 classroom hours from approved Yoga Conferences, workshops and classes with qualified instructors**. Documented attendance required - use tracking grid.
Hours taken outside the program may qualify for application toward required
50 classroom** hours with qualified instructors - call or email to inquire
3) Reading and Workshop Assignments (homework) assigned after each workshop
4) Journal of teaching, practice and workshop/class attendance
5) CPR and First Aid training
6) Demonstration of teaching skills during practice teaching sessions
7) Submit Application for Diploma to Graduation Review Committee.
