What is Prana Vinyasa®?
Prana Vinyasa® is a 501 (c) (3) Professional Yoga Teacher Training School dedicated to Quality Yoga Teacher Education. Prana Vinyasa® Programs are offered throughout Florida and in Tunisia, Africa.
Who are the Yoga Teacher Trainers at Prana Vinyasa® School?
Prana Vinyasa® Programs Director Sarasvati Devi and Vaz Rogbeck, Jim Cooper, Wanda Howe and others including Special Faculty members like Dr. Gurleen Grewall, Physical Therapist Kathleen Boyle, Dr. Ann Harman, Dr. RoseMary Ammons, Dr. Gurleen Grewal and others. Prana Vinyasa® Training Instructors are qualified to train Yoga Teachers and have the experience to help you become a successful Yoga Teacher qualified to Register with Yoga Alliance®.
What style of yoga does Prana Vinyasa® School teach?
Prana Vinyasa® School offers 200 & 500-hour Hatha Yoga Diploma Programs and 750 & 1000-hour Therapeutic Yoga-International Training Programs.
Can I attend daily open classes and workshops at the studio locations without being in the teacher training program?
Yes, you can drop in for the open classes on the daily schedule with out being a teacher training student. Contact each location for details, schedule, pricing, etc.

What Programs are currently available?
Prana Vinyasa Basic & Advanced Studies; Therapeutic Yoga-International Training Programs and Continuing Education.
Yoga teacher training leading to a yoga Teaching Diploma.
Yoga training with a specialty in "Special Populations" helping those who need help.
How long does it take to complete basic level I training?
About a year normally; it is possible to complete the program in a shorter time by attending multiple locations.
How long does it take to complete levels II, III & IV training?
Training is offered as weekday training sessions, weekend intensives, 5, 10, 21 & 30 day retreats.
How soon will I be able to share what I am learning?
One great thing about yoga training is you will be able to incorporate what you are learning into your other activities right away. Each workshop is designed to help you start practining and teaching what you have learned.

How long do I have to practice Yoga to begin teacher training?
Some teachers know immediately that they wanted to teach, others did not feel drawn to helping others share their love of yoga until they had been practicing for many years. Our program requires each student to attend 50 classroom hours taking classes. If you wish to begin teacher training and have not been taking classes, start taking these classes, then begin your teacher training.
What is the cost for 200-hour training?
1. app fee $75.00
2. down payment: 255.00
3. tuition payments 9 @ $180.00 each (first tuition payment is due with app and down payment; second payment is due 10 days prior to attending each workshop)
4. total payments equal $1,950.00*
(total due with application: $510.00 (75+255+180))
note: a 10% reduction in tuition is offered to all students who prepay their full tuition before beginning training (2008-Tampa location only.)
200-hour Program must be completed in 15 months unless special arrangements are made with the applications committee.
Workshop makeup opportunities are offered periodically during each year.
